The Food Quality and Security Manager will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality in our manufacturing process. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who is committed to implementing effective food safety protocols.
The successful candidate will develop and implement food safety initiatives and lead corporate quality initiatives to ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality. In a fast-paced environment like manufacturing, this manager will be an integral part of the operation.
Main Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement food safety initiatives to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Audit food safety protocols to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Aid in incident investigations, compiling reports, analyzing root causes, and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with teams across departments to identify, assess, and mitigate potential food safety hazards.
- Provide training to employees on food safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in food science, food technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years' experience in food manufacturing with examples of demonstrated excellence in the workplace.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality control best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred.
