Job Summary:
The Plant Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in delivering high-quality product to our customers at Thrive Freeze Dry. This position is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment to support the site's business goals.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include:
- Performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment
- Providing emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production
- Performing scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment
- Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
- Detecting faulty operations, defective material, and reporting those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
Requirements Include:
- A high school diploma/GED and mechanical inclination
- 4 years of manufacturing experience
- Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills
Physical Requirements: The job requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and frequent fine finger dexterity. The ability to lift to 40 lbs. is required.
