The Program Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing and implementing programs within our organization. This position provides administrative oversight for the LNA program at Thrive Health Career Institute and reports directly to the company administrator. The Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing support to both staff and students.
The ideal candidate will have a background in healthcare settings, particularly with experience related to nurse aide training. They should be capable of coordinating the necessary documents from enrolling students and ensuring the school remains compliant with regulations. Additionally, the Program Coordinator will assist in onboarding new students into the program.
Benefits:

Duties
- Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of program activities to ensure they meet organizational goals.
- Maintain accurate student records and documentation in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Facilitate communication between students and instructors and clinical site.
- Monitor program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements based on feedback and outcomes.
- Assist with onboarding of new students including obtaining relevant documents needed for school admission/application process.
- · Serves as academic advisor to students and helps promote student retention·
- · Assists with student recruitment through activities such as open houses and student orientations
- · Maintains course documents, including descriptions of each course's content, a list of program related activities, and a list of individuals who successfully complete the program
- · Performs other duties as assigned
- Coordinates with the NH Board of Nursing for formal documentation and reports and site visits
Skills
- Possession of a current New Hampshire unencumbered registered nurse license or a multi-state RN license from another compact state
- Two years of experience in the field of allied health or nursing, including two years of experience providing care to elderly and/or chronically ill patients, and one year of experience providing care in a long-term care facility, with responsibility for program implementation, direct service delivery, planning, or program evaluation
- Bachelor degree in nursing or successful completion of a Board of Nursing-approved Train-the-Trainer course required in lieu of bachelor's degree·
- Ability to work independently to develop new or alternative approaches to meet changing and variable conditions

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
License/Certification: Possession of a valid driver's license or access to transportation. Possession of a current New Hampshire unencumbered registered nurse license or a multi-state RN license from another compact state.
2 years of experience in the field of allied health or nursing, including two years of experience providing care to elderly and/or chronically ill patients, and one year of experience providing care in a long-term care facility, with responsibility for program implementation, direct service delivery, planning, or program evaluation.
Must be proficient in English. Proficiency in English includes skills in reading, writing and speaking.
Candidates must be proficient in using a computer to manage documents, emails, Excel spreadsheets and Word files.
