- Contract Length: 13 weeks (High possibility of extension)
- Start Date: ASAP - 04/14/2025
- Shift: Evenings 7 Night | 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM | 22.45 – 7.15| Every Other Weekend
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
About the Role:
Are you a compassionate and resilient Behavioral Health RN with a knack for de-escalation, crisis intervention, and patient-centered care? If you love helping patients navigate mental health challenges while keeping things light when possible (because humor is the best medicine—besides actual medicine), then this is the role for you!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing specialized nursing care for adult behavioral health patients.
- Utilizing crisis intervention techniques—because some days, deep breaths and a little sarcasm go a long way.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans.
- Charting and Documentation – Yep, we know, the real reason you got into nursing. (Kidding!)
- Supporting patients through every step of their mental health journey.
What We’re Looking For:
- Licensure: Current RI or Compact RN License (must-have at submission!)
- Experience: 2 years of Behavioral Health Unit (BHU) RN experience (Adult Population)
- Certifications: BLS (required), ACLS (preferred but not mandatory)
- Flexibility: Ability to work 5x8 hour shifts per week every other weekend.
