NOW HIRING: Inpatient Cardiovascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner – Locums
Portland, ME | 3-6 Month Assignment | High-Level CV Surgery Team

The Gig:
Length of Coverage: 3-6 months (just enough time to fall in love with lobster rolls!)
Schedule:
In the OR? Four 10-12 hour days per week
In the ICU? Three 12-13 hour shifts per week (Yes, this includes overnights—hope you like coffee!)
Weekend Call: 1 in 4 or 5 (Friday 6 PM – Monday 6 AM—perfect for night owls)
Surgical Call: 1-2 weekdays per week from 6 PM to 6 AM
The Details:
Elite CV Surgery Team – 7 Surgeons & 32 APPs
1,600 Pump Cases Per Year – All cardiac surgeries (except transplant!)
Highly Independent APP Role – Surgeons cut, APPs do the rest!
EVH System: Maquet Hemopro2 (Fancy gear for a top-tier team!)
Credentialing? ASAP with emergency credentialing push
The Must-Haves:
Board Certified NP – No exceptions!
Active ME License OR IMLC – Let's keep it legal.
COVID & Flu Vaccine – Yep, gotta have ‘em!
