Position: LVN – Medical (Corrections)
Location: Blythe, CA
Pay Rate: $56/hr
Contract Length: 27 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Days Worked: Wednesday – Sunday
Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Orientation: 2 weeks (Day One: 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM; Remaining days may vary between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM)

Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate LVN with a Mental Health background for a 27-week contract in Blythe, CA. The role focuses on providing high-quality care in a correctional mental health setting. Orientation is provided and required.

Service Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver healthcare services in line with facility policies and within LVN scope of practice
• Perform hygiene and basic nursing care, administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Monitor and report patient status to RNs or Primary Care Providers
• Document all care provided in the approved format
• Assist with diagnostic testing and therapeutic procedures
• Support mental health professionals in patient observation and treatment planning
• Help train and assist patients with daily living activities
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and ensure proper equipment care

Schedule Notes:

• 2-week orientation occurs on weekdays
• Start times during orientation may vary and will be shared in advance
• Must be able to work weekends as this position includes Saturday and Sunday shifts

Requirements:

• Valid California LVN License
• Previous mental health or correctional healthcare experience preferred
• BLS Certification
• Reliable and punctual attendance
• Comfortable working in a secured facility
