Start Time: 6:00 AM
Shift Length: 12-hour shifts
Schedule: Minimum 4 weekend shifts/month | Holiday rotation
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Required Experience & Certifications
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience
- Current CNA and/or EMT certification in good standing
- BLS (AHA)
- Demonstrated competency in EKG monitoring and interpretation
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR
Skills & Job Duties
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and O2 saturations for up to 65 patients
- Use sepsis application to alert care team when indicated
- Obtain and document baseline and post-cardiac ECG strips
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient data in EMR
- Recognize and immediately report any abnormal rhythms
- Maintain and troubleshoot monitoring station equipment
- Provide accurate shift reports related to rhythm status
- Strong communication skills with clinical team per protocol

- Bed Coverage: Up to 65 patients per tech
- Oversight: ICU Charge RN and House Supervisor
- Team Size: 2 per monitor room (rarely 3)
- Floating: Unlikely, but may occur depending on hospital needs

- Trauma Level: Not specified
