Travel RN – Long-Term Care (LTC/SNF)
Location: Breckenridge, MN 56520
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $60/hr
Shift: Day/Night Rotate – 12-Hour Shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week
Local Candidates Not Accepted (Must reside 50 miles from facility and not be employed by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity in the last year)
Position Summary:
Seeking a self-motivated and experienced Travel RN to join a supportive long-term care team within a nursing home setting. You'll oversee resident care, supervise CNAs/TMAs, and perform key nursing duties in a 38-bed facility connected to a full-service hospital.
Must-Haves:
- 1 Year RN experience (LTC/Nursing Home preferred)
- BLS Certification
- Active MN RN License
- Experience with med pass, wound care, foley & ostomy care
- Supervisory skills and CNA oversight
- Must register for MN NETStudy prior to submission
- EMR: Point Click Care
- No IV or titration required
Facility Details:
- Setting: Nursing Home (Connected to hospital with ER, lab, imaging, pharmacy, therapy, walk-in clinic)
- Residents: 38 (Private rooms)
- Ratios:
- Day/Evening: 1 RN 2-3 CNAs for 20 residents
- Night: 1 RN 2-3 CNAs for 40 residents
- Charting: Point Click Care
- Medication System: Blister Pack Cards
- On-Site Pharmacy & Physician Availability After Hours
Schedule & Dress Code:
- Shifts: 12-hr (some 8-hr possible)
- Block Scheduling based on need
- Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other
- Scrubs Provided
Orientation & Onboarding:
- Orientation: 12 hours additional shifts as needed
- Onboarding Requirements:
- Updated Resume
- Active RN License
- BLS
- Completed MN NETStudy registration
- References (1 recent, 1 past okay)
- COVID Card & Valid ID
- Time-off requests if applicable
