Weekend Travel :-RN - Emergency Room (ER) | Travel Contract Opportunity
Location: San Bernardino, CA 92404
Shift: Nights | Friday - Sunday
Pay Rate: $2,600 per week
Hours: 12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week
About the Role
We are seeking an ER Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced Emergency Department in an acute care setting. This hospital sees 250 patient visits per day and breaks care into fast track, treat & anticipate disposition, and acute care.
This is a contract/travel position with a first-come, first-served hiring process!
Required Qualifications
✔ Active RN License
✔ Minimum 2 Years ER Experience (Trauma Preferred) – First-Time Travelers Accepted
✔ Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
✔ Proficiency with Cerner PowerChart EMR
Unit & Hospital Details
Unit Type: Emergency Room (No Floating)
Beds: 24 (No Trauma Bays)
Psych/Seclusion Rooms: Private Room Available, Overflow Area for 4 Patients
Staffing: ER Techs, Charge Nurse (Non-Patient Assignment), Security, and Phlebotomists
IV/Lab Draws: Phlebotomists Handle All Draws (Except Central Lines)
Ventilators: Managed by Respiratory Therapy (RT)
Physicians/Mid-Levels: On-Site (MDs, PAs, NPs)
24/7 Pharmacy & Respiratory Therapy
Schedule & Work Details
Shifts: 12-hour shifts (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM or 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend (Could Be Every Weekend Based on Staffing)
Holidays: Required (Scheduled with Permanent Staff)
Scrub Color: RN - Blue | ER Techs - Green
