About Thrive Holistic Medicine:
We are seeking a receptionist/office assistant who can help schedule appointments and help with the flow of our clients/patients as they arrive at appointments and leave after their appointment. We have the most amazing clients and patients whom we get to know closely because we are a locally-owned business with a positive and friendly atmosphere. The majority of our clients and patients are working on any of the following: gut health, hormone health, detoxification, weight loss, immune system optimization, and mental health.
We're seeking for someone who has an amazing attitude and the potential to become an office manager as we grow and expand our services.
Prior experience isn't required as long as you have the desire and motivation to learn!

Position:
Receptionist/ Office Assistant
Role (Overview of the Position)
- This position is responsible for supporting practitioners with tasks around the office, mostly communicating with potential and current patients/clients regarding appointments. This position will be responsible for helping with managing the day-to-day tasks needed by all practitioners as well as booking, invoicing, stocking & ordering products, and fulfilling duties assigned to the role.
- Ability to advance with pay and duties, dependent upon performance and attitude.
Responsibilities (Tasks Associated with the Role)
- Manage booking calendar. Look ahead for any possible double bookings or discrepancies.
- Ensure all new patients/clients have filled out intake and consent forms.
- Invoice with accuracy.
- Promptly answer incoming calls, text messages, and emails in a knowledgeable way.
- Refill the Berkey water filter continuously throughout the day.
- Completing all daily tasks in a timely manner.
- Make sure there are 5 Naturopathic Medicine Welcome Folders in the black cabinet
- Make sure there are 10 Colonic Welcome Folders in the black cabinet
- Make sure there are 5 blank copies of all of the following in the black cabinet: consent form, naturopathic intake form, colonic intake form.
- Ensure all patient files and labs are filed away at the end of every shift.
Results (Expected Accomplishments)
- Work with our naturopathic doctor/owner to maintain a positive client/patient experience.
- Understand all company products, services, and how to direct a patient to any of the clinicians in the office in a confident manner.
- Ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations.
- Strong written and verbal communication, administrative and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of tasks and confidential matters with discretion.
- Utilize selling skills to promote patient/client re-bookings with all practitioners.
- Make sure all clients/patients feel comfortable and taken care of before and after their appointments.
Requirements (Expected Proficiencies)

- Ability to prioritize duties and handle high-speed tasks as they arise on a daily basis.

Hours
- 30-36 hours/week
- Mondays-Fridays
Benefits: In addition to the hourly wage, after 90 days of employment you'd be eligible for our monthly revenue-sharing bonus and 50% discount on services.
