What are the responsibilities and job description for the Skid Steer/ Equipment Grading Operator position at Thrive Outdoor Inc?
We are seeking an individual primarily skilled in operating skid steers but also skilled in operating backhoes, mini excavators, and dump trucks. Must be able to load and unload equipment and materials from trucks and trailers safely and accurately.
Full-time, part time and weekend only positions are available.
Must possess a positive & professional working attitude. Excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure & handle a high-volume fast paced multitasking environment. Strong work ethic & belief in personal accountability. Must have a valid driver license.
Must have excellent hand, eye, & foot coordination to guide large machinery in tight places. Ability to read gauges, dials & other indicators & adjust them as necessary. Interpersonal skills and teamwork to coordinate actions with those of other workers on busy sites. Troubleshooting capabilities to detect and fix operating problems. Critical thinking to identify the strengths and weaknesses of solutions to problems to best choose the one that is most likely to be successful & cost effective.
Ability to lift 50 pounds, to work outdoors in various temperatures throughout the day & to work with and as a team. Ability to complete tasks independently & take initiative, and to follow directions.

Overtime may be available, but not guaranteed. Pay will be received weekly. Transportation is provided for on-the-job travel.
Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance is available after the employee’s probation period ends.
Employer will provide, at no charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform job. Required uniform provided. Applicants must complete an employment application. A pre-employment criminal background check and drug test are required, the cost is paid by the company.
