The Program Manager – Thrive Together is responsible for leading the launch and ongoing coordination of Thrive Together’s programming, ensuring it runs smoothly and aligns with the organization’s goals. They will be responsible for day-to-day program operations, supervision of staff, and ensuring that the Supporting Older Adults Remotely (SOAR) curriculum is delivered with fidelity, compassion, and impact. This position works closely with community partners, older adult participants, and Certified Older Adult Peer Support Specialists (COAPS) to ensure high-quality, culturally competent, and person-centered programming.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of Thrive Together

Implement systems and workflows for participant enrollment, participant matching, scheduling, and curriculum delivery

Manage and monitor the Supporting Older Adults Remotely (SOAR) curriculum implementation

Ensure documentation, confidentiality, and quality standards are met

Hire, train, supervise, and support a team of individuals trained to deliver the SOAR curriculum

Provide regular 1:1 supervision, group check-ins, and participant debriefs

Monitor staff performance and ensure alignment with COAPS best practices

Facilitate ongoing professional development and continuing education for staff

Serve as a key point of contact for community partners and referral sources

Build and maintain strong relationships with aging services providers, housing authorities, and health systems

Represent Thrive Together at community meetings, events, and outreach opportunities

Support participant recruitment and engagement efforts

Track program metrics and outcomes, including loneliness scores, referral data, and satisfaction

Collaborate with evaluation staff to ensure timely and accurate data collection and reporting

Lead continuous quality improvement efforts based on data and participant feedback

Maintain compliance with funder requirements, policies, and documentation standards

Assist with grant reporting and invoicing as needed

Contribute to the sustainability and growth of Thrive Together through strategic input and problem-solving

Advise and manage staff appropriately, including monitoring performance and having accountability discussions

Requirements:

Knowledge of older adult behavioral health, loneliness, and/or community-based support strategies

Strong organizational skills and comfort with managing operations, timelines, and multiple priorities

Display strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills

Ability to provide supervision to COAPs and provide guidance on their performance and caseload

Ability to work with diverse populations and foster a culture of inclusion, equity, and compassion

Lived experience with behavioral health, aging, caregiving, or recovery is valued

Familiarity with grant funded programs, managed care, or alternative payment models
-
Experience with curriculum-based programs (e.g., SOAR, WRAP, or other structured models)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, Google Workspace, documentation platforms (e.g. EHR, Jot Form, Google Form), and virtual service tools (e.g., Zoom, Teams)

Exceptional written and oral communication skills; ability to articulate information clearly
Preferred Requirements:

3 years of experience in program management preferred, preferably in behavioral health or aging services

Supervisory experience; experience working with or managing staff is a strong plus

Knowledge of Medicare Advantage and other programs focused on the older adult population
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent, advanced degree in a behavioral health, social services, or management related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
