What You Will Do
Schedule surgeries and procedures efficiently, coordinating with physicians, patients, and insurance providers.
Verify patient and procedure details, confirm authorizations, and ensure accurate documentation.
Communicate pre-op instructions and answer questions to help patients feel prepared and at ease.
Collaborate closely with clinical and administrative staff to support smooth daily operations.
Maintain accurate records and respond to scheduling changes with professionalism and flexibility.
You'll Know You're a Good Fit for This Position If You Have...
Experience in medical scheduling, ideally in a surgical or outpatient setting (minimum of 1 year experience in a medical office required).
Familiarity with insurance requirements and authorization processes.
A love for a fast-paced office setting, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities calmly and efficiently.
Clear and compassionate communication skills, both verbal and written.
Familiarity with EMR systems (we use eClinicals) and standard office software.
