Experience & Skills Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.
- State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date.
- Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.
Hoffman Estates Animal Hospital is looking for a Veterinarian/Medical Director to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.

As the head of your hospital, you’ll have the guidance and resources to excel as a leader. This includes access to a Medical Initiatives Committee to become stronger and more equipped to develop your practice.
We are an established companion animal hospital located 30 miles Northwest of Chicago. We are AAHA accredited and Feline Friendly. We offer digital x-ray, dentistry, surgery, laser therapy, and have ultrasound available for our patients. Our clients are devoted to their pets and are motivated to provide the best veterinary care for them. We have an amazing support staff that creates a warm caring environment for our patients and clients. We pride ourselves on our excellent patient care, comprehensive client education, and our long-lasting relationships with our clients. We love our patients, our owners, and our jobs helping them take care of their pets from puppies and kittens to old age.
Hours
Monday - Thursday:
8:00am - 6:00pm
Friday:
8:00am - 5:00pm
Saturday:
8:00am - 1:00pm

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
