JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking certified peer recovery coaches. This position will assist the SUD/MH population. This position works closely with local community crisis teams including but not limited to CCBHC’s, CMHC’s, law enforcement, Judicial partners, emergency medical systems, and hospital emergency rooms. This position is mobile when necessary and in coordination with other community organizations. This position may work various shifts of the day/evening or over the course of the week and weekends. Engage in person-centered service, advocacy, and planning. Use unique skills and life experiences to guide the individuals served through the multiple life challenges and opportunities that exist. Assisting in creating person centered recovery plan that supports multiple pathways of recovery. This position is a community-based recovery coach and will have areas they are assigned; all coaches will work within the counties if needed by PRCS (Peer Recovery Coach Supervisor) and Admin. PRCS will make sure all PRCs (Peer Recovery Coaches) are trained and reporting correctly.
Principle Duties
· Use unique skills and life experiences to guide the individuals served through the multiple life challenges and opportunities that exist. Ensure all documentation is completed within same day period.
· Ensure all reporting is done in accordance with THRIVE standards.
· Work with PRCS on developing professional development and smart goals throughout the year.
· Will attend all required meetings in the community-based programming and report back to PRCS.
· All communication with organizations will be reported and flowed through PRCS/Admin.
· Opportunities to work a shift on 211-call center for THRIVE.
· Other responsibilities may be applied.
Qualifications
· High School Diploma or GED equivalent
· Ability to work nights/weekends
· No conviction for sexual assault, or related offense.
· Knowledge of or ability to learn a client-centered coaching approach that emphasizes nonjudgmental empathetic interaction and collaborative development and implementation of behavior change plans with an emphasis on motivational interviewing and behavior change techniques.
· Detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills. High level of oral communication skill
· Valid driver’s license
· Ability to work independently and with a team
· Ability to learn new computer-based documentation skills
· Understanding of behavioral health diagnosis, signs, and symptoms

· 10-hour shift
· 12-hour shift
· 8-hour shift
· Holidays
· On call
· Weekend availability
Education:
· High school or equivalent (Required)
License/Certification:
· Driver's License (Required)
· CPRC-A, CPRC, CSPS, CSPR-PR, CHW/CRS, NCPRSS credential; persons not credentialed will be considered.
Work Location: Multiple Locations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
