We are currently looking for LVN's with excellent customer service - energetic, friendly and caring - to provide our guests with compassionate and personal treatment.
12-hour shift opportunity! Hours are 6:00am to 6:00pm.
- Administers and/or supervise medications as needed.
- Obtains and records Residents vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration), weight, food and fluid intake and output, as directed.
- Observes Resident to detect response to specified types of medications and prepares report or notifies Healthcare Director of unexpected reactions.
- Communicate with physician’s offices and doctors as needed to manage or change orders for a resident.
- Assures emergency response system calls are answered in a timely manner to attend to the Resident’s needs immediately after the call is signaled.
- Attends all training and conferences as required to stay abreast of changes in the nursing profession as well as to maintain appropriate CEU’s for license, with prior approval of supervisor. Assures all training required by the state regulations is completed and documented each year.
- Assures all direct care staff duties are performed as assigned and documented appropriately.
- Participates in the Care Planning process as assigned.
- Assists in training for all direct care staff to assure requirements for state regulations are met, as assigned by Healthcare Director.
- Addresses team member, family, and resident concerns to promote satisfaction and good communication.
- Maintains confidentiality of all pertinent personal or health information concerning residents and staff.
- Other duties as assigned to ensure the success and safety of The Tradition Residents and team members.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in home health, assisted living, hospital, or long-term care environment preferred.
- Maintains a current state license as a professional Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN)
- Management experience preferred
