RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead by example—coach, mentor, and develop retail staff to create an engaging and supportive work environment.
- Partner with the GM to execute training programs, performance reviews, and career growth initiatives.
- Support in hiring, onboarding, and retaining top-tier talent to maintain a highly skilled team.
- Foster a customer-first culture, ensuring exceptional service and education for all guests.
- Maintain strict compliance with New York State cannabis regulations, Thrive CCA’s SOPs, and security protocols.
- Oversee store operations, scheduling, cash handling, and iSupport inventory supervisors in managing product flow, restocking, and loss prevention.
- Ensure POS systems (BioTrack THC) are accurate, functional, and compliant with Thrive CCA’s procedures.
- Provide insight on product assortment, customer preferences, and market trends to optimize sales.inventory processes.
- Work closely with inventory and compliance teams to ensure seamless product tracking and reporting in BioTrack THC.
- Implement best practices for operational efficiency, shrink reduction, and security measures.
- Drive sales strategies and KPIs, working with the GM to maximize profitability and customer retention.
- Support marketing and community outreach efforts to strengthen Thrive CCA’s presence in Syracuse.
- Collaborate with leadership on in-store promotions, product launches, and vendor partnerships.
- Assist with P&L oversight, budgeting, and financial reporting to ensure the store meets revenue goals.
- Comfortable working within strict regulatory environments (BioTrack THC experience preferred).
- Track key performance metrics (sales, labor costs, conversion rates) and implement data-driven improvements.
- Work closely with GM to ensure accurate cash handling and deposits while upholding security protocols.
SKILLS
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- 3 years of experience in retail management, hospitality, or regulated industries (Cannabis experience is a plus!)
- Proven ability to motivate, coach, and develop a diverse team.
- Experience overseeing store operations, inventory, scheduling, and compliance
- Thrives in a fast-paced, customer-driven setting while embracing education and advocacy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience tracking KPIs and improving processes.
- Proficient in POS systems, Microsoft Suite, and scheduling platforms.
