We are seeking a committed, mission-aligned billing specialist to ensure schools receive the financial reimbursements they deserve in order to continue serving their students. The billing specialist will be a key member of our operations team, locking arms with our administration and providers to support our partners.
This is a 32-hour / week remote, contract position. The compensation range is $18 - $22 / hr, commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities :
- Manage collection and entry of data into EMR system via HIPPA and FERPA compliant systems
- Daily electronic claims entry, submission and follow-up
- Denial management
- Audit EMR system for accuracy of data entry
- Swift interpretation and application of changes in regulatory expectations as outlined by government and payers
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, ensuring top customer satisfaction
