Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Mental Health Clinician at Thrive Together OC. The primary role of the Mental Health Clinician is to implement and/or oversee the screening and intake process and perform primary psychosis assessments, diagnostic evaluations and psychosocial or cognitive assessments of program clients. The incumbent will prepare written reports of the evaluation and provide feedback to client, client’s family, and client’s providers, under the supervision of a licensed clinician. The Mental Health Clinician may also be responsible for providing clinical interventions when appropriate, drafting training and outreach materials, participating in consultation sessions with other providers and/or families, preparing reporting materials, and assisting with administrative tasks as needed by the program.
This role is based in Garden Grove, CA, with flexibility for remote work.
Qualifications
- 2 years in the field of mental health and behavioral health expertise
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work empathetically with youth and families
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in mental health
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
