What are the responsibilities and job description for the Private Teacher for Homeschooling Family K-5 position at Thrive Tutoring?
Private Family Hiring a Gifted Teacher for K-5 Students
Thrive Tutoring is seeking a dynamic and innovative educator early in his/her career to work with a private family. The family has three young children in preK through 2nd grade. They are gifted learners seeking a highly unique, deeply tech-enabled homeschooling experience curated and led by a private educator. The family is seeking to leverage educational technology throughout the learning process and within the infrastructure of the homeschooling program, as well as provide an enrichment-focused curriculum that is personalized to each individual learner (weaving in high-level concepts like economics, computer science, etc. based on student interest and aptitude).

They are seeking candidates with a flexible lifestyle to accommodate their travels. Their private teacher would travel with them at least ~60 days of the year (Bahamas, South Florida, etc.). There will be some solo family travel, and during this time, they would like to engage in virtual learning (~30 days per year).
The teacher will have the opportunity to fully develop a technology-driven educational plan in collaboration with EdTech consultants, manage a sizeable tech and resource budget, engage in incredible travel experiences, and work with a caring and generous family.
