Full-Time: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, flexible scheduling as needed
SUMMARY
Provide a full array of individual and group rehabilitative services to people adversely affected by chemical abuse or dependency in an outpatient setting. Oversee, manage, and centralize High Level of Care coordination for current and incoming patients that are clinically appropriate and have a recommendation to a Higher Level of care.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain Standards that apply to Confidentiality and 42 CFR/HIPAA
- Must be knowledgeable and able to demonstrate the Canon of Ethics, healthy professional relationships and boundaries with clients and co-workers.
- Must be able to organize and perform systematic referrals to higher level of care based on recommendations from clinical staff.
- Have a solid understanding of addictions treatment and regulations.
- Must be able to understand levels of care and be comfortable communicating with outside agencies to help our patients get to the best HLOC available.
- Non-Clinical services are provided within the agency with the approved best practices and meeting quality expectations.
- Using approved tools, evaluate/assess clinical recommendations and recommend treatment for clients.
- Maintain client records per OASAS standards and agency policy and procedures.
- Complete all recordkeeping in a timely, efficient, and systematic manner.
- Provide individual and group activity, counseling, and didactic sessions.
- Participate in clinical supervision at least bi-weekly and comply with directions.
- Utilize ATTC’s Performance Assessment Rubrics as a tool for assessing and developing clinical competencies to meet the Proficient Counselor standard as a minimum.
- Ensure the delivery of prompt medical attention in cases of illness or accident, report any such incidents to the Program Director/Supervisor, complete untoward incident reports and documentation as required.
- Utilize the On-call system as needed.
- Obtain breath and urine samples for AOD testing to assist in getting to a HLOC.
- Participate in record reviews.
- Attend and participate in relevant training while pursuing/maintaining credential.
- Attend staff meetings, in-service and conference/trainings as assigned.
- Perform offsite services as needed.
- Convey information inter/intra agency.
- Be sensitive and responsible to public relations within the community
- Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate’s degree in the field of chemical dependency/other human services field preferred
CASAC-T/CASAC or demonstrated progress obtaining CASAC-T
support a person-centered approach to care and must subscribe to a professional canon of ethics.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must maintain valid driver’s license.
Salary : $21 - $23
