As a Plumber Apprentice, you'll assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems, gaining valuable experience while working toward becoming a licensed plumber.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems and fixtures.
- Learn to read blueprints and technical diagrams to understand plumbing layouts.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of plumbing systems.
- Support senior plumbers on job sites and gain knowledge of industry standards and safety practices.
- Participate in safety training and apply best practices to all tasks.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are ready for use.
- Follow company procedures, including timekeeping and reporting.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic understanding of plumbing systems (training will be provided).
- Willingness to learn and grow in a hands-on environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Previous experience in construction or a trade is a plus but not required.
