Marketing Analyst
Summary/Objective
We are seeking a data-driven Marketing Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for analyzing demand generation (paid media) performance while also supporting insights across all performance marketing channels (automation, email, SMS, and web). The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with marketing data visualization tools, and expertise in extracting insights from large-scale digital marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities
Marketing Analytics & Insights
- Analyze paid media performance across Meta, Google, TikTok, and other digital channels to assess demand generation effectiveness.
- Generate insights across all performance marketing channels (paid media, email, SMS, and web) to optimize marketing efforts.
- Partner with marketing stakeholders to identify trends, optimize campaigns, and inform strategic decisions using data-driven insights.
- Support in the creation and maintenance of performance dashboards and automated reports to track key marketing KPIs, including CPL, CVR, ROAS, and engagement metrics.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to support marketing initiatives, troubleshoot performance fluctuations, and uncover optimization opportunities.
Marketing Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain and optimize marketing dashboards in our data visualization tool (Qlik), ensuring seamless data integration and visualization.
- Work with marketing and engineering teams to ensure accurate data flow and reporting consistency across platforms.
- Implement automated reporting solutions to streamline campaign performance tracking and cross-channel attribution.
- Monitor program health against KPIs, flagging risks and opportunities for performance improvement.
Campaign Optimization & Strategy Support
- Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze A/B tests, audience performance, and conversion trends across marketing channels.
- Support budget allocation and forecasting models to improve efficiency and scale acquisition efforts.
- Collaborate with web development and UX teams to analyze landing page performance and optimize conversion rates.
- Work closely with creative and strategy teams to ensure marketing materials align with data-driven insights and audience behaviors.
Campaign Management
- When needed, support the day-to-day implementation of growth strategies across online paid media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Google, TikTok, and more.
- Assist in the development and execution of demand generation and remarketing campaigns to increase customer acquisition and reduce costs.
- Manage campaign budgets, timelines, and ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in performance marketing analytics, demand generation, or digital marketing analysis.
- Strong proficiency in analyzing paid media data across platforms such as Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining dashboards utilizing BI tools like Redshift and Qlik.
- Expertise in data visualization and reporting, with strong skills in SQL, Excel, and Google Analytics.
- Ability to analyze large data sets and translate findings into actionable recommendations for campaign optimization.
- Strong understanding of marketing attribution models, audience segmentation, and A/B testing methodologies.
- Expertise in managing paid media campaigns across platforms such as Meta, Google Ads, YouTube, and TikTok.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data.
- Working knowledge of working with ad servers, tagging, conversion tracking, and audience syndication.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred
- Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, or Braze).
- Proficiency in Supermetrics, Google Looker Studio, or other marketing reporting tools.
- Experience working with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
- Familiarity with heatmap and user behavior tools (Hotjar, Clicktale, etc.).
- Experience in the education sector or knowledge of OPM (Online Program Management).
Work Environment
Work environment is home office-based. Temperature, noise level, and other environmental factors may vary.
Physical Demands
Physical demands are equal to that commonly associated with office work. Majority of work time is spent sitting at a desk in front of a computer.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
Full time position. Company office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am ET – 5 pm ET. Must be available and meet obligations for internal and external customers during standard business hours and as necessary. Work schedule may flex based on workload and project assignment. Some after hours and weekend work as projects and workload require.
Travel
Travel on an as-needed basis, but generally no more than 10%. Travel may occur outside of the country and maybe overnight.
