Job description : The Financial Advisor works as a part of the advisory team at Gateway Associates to create, present, and continually monitor financial advice to our clients. Their goal is to empower clients to realize individual goals and create a realistic plan to live their ideal financial lives.
Responsibilities :
Financial Advisor has the following responsibilities and duties :
- Hold Discovery meetings to get to know clients on a personal and financial basis
- Hold Review meetings (MAR, and Advice Delivery)
- Monitor financial markets and economic conditions to maintain current knowledge base
- Analyze client needs and research suitable investment opportunities. Make recommendations based on findings
- Prep for plan presentation meetings to ensure that the plans outlined by planning team are in line with the needs and interests of the client
- Interpret illustrations made by planning team and run additional illustrations as needed
- Track investment opportunities in Salesforce
- Manage recommendations and introductions (RI) information housed in Salesforce. Run reports and take action as appropriate.
- Complete redemptions, purchases, exchanges, fund transfers, and other financial management requests (or delegate requests to CSA as appropriate.)

M / Tu 9 : 00 am - 7 : 00 pm, W 9 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm, Tr 9 : 00 am - 4 : 00 pm, F 9 : 00 am - 12 : 00 pm
As part of the sponsoring financial advisor recruiting / hiring / contracting process, a verification of a candidate's background will be made to complete the process. Fingerprints will be required as part of FINRA registration process for submission to the Federal Bureau of Investigation for review against nationwide fingerprint records.
