ThrivePoint High School is seeking a certified secondary math teacher who wants to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students for the 24/25 school year.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops instructional plans and organizes class time to provide a balanced professionalism, demonstration and working time.
- Provides individual and small group instruction in order to adapt curriculum to the needs of the students with varying intellectual abilities, and to accommodate a variety of instructional activities.
- Establish and maintain good communication with parents; inform parents of student progress and school activities.
- Evaluates each student's performance and growth in knowledge and understanding.
- Cooperates in school-wide supervision of students during out-of-classroom activities.
- Use and implement effective classroom management techniques to maintain organization, orderliness, student safety, and a productive learning environment.
- This is an in person and year round position. Applicants must live in the Avondale/Surprise Arizona area.
Qualifications:
- Position requires a B.A./B.S. degree.
- Valid Arizona Secondary Education Teaching Certificate
- Applicants must also possess a valid IVP Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
