Here at Thrivewell Infusion, we believe that personalized care ensures that every patient’s medical needs are maintained throughout the continuum of care; from intake, assessment, and treatment through the completion of their visit. Our primary focus will be administering the delivery of biologic medications (e.g. Remicade, Tysabri, Tepezza, etc…) while staying true to our mission to increase access for patients to high quality infusion and injection services and modern treatments for rare and chronic diseases.
You will be the primary, independent practitioner tasked with safely and efficiently delivering infusion therapy to our customers suffering from chronic diseases and acute medical illnesses. We welcome NPs from all medical backgrounds with a positive attitude, outstanding IV skills, and a current New York Registered Nursing license required.
We are currently hiring on a full time basis for our ambulatory infusion centers located throughout Nassau County, including Manhasset, Rockville Centre, and Woodbury area. Hours of operation range from 6 to 12hr shifts M-F, depending on location and Saturday on an as needed basis.
Responsibilities will Include:
- Preparation of IV Infusions in accordance with clinical protocols
- Starting IV’s and monitoring patients during the infusion process.
- Maintaining accurate electronic medical records
- Providing clear patient instructions and education regarding infusion protocols.
- Maintaining organized medical and IV supplies including ordering and inventory
- Creating a positive, relaxing & professional environment.
- Maintaining a highly-organized, safe and clean work area.
Job Type: FULL TIME
Required experience:
- Master’s degree from an accredited nursing school and current board certification to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the State of New York with greater than 3,600 hours of relevant experience to which the Nurse Practitioner
- Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) License
- ACLS and BLS certification
