">The Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor at Thriveworks Counseling in Silver Spring, MD, will provide clinical services to clients while fulfilling the requirements for Maryland State Licensure as an LCPC. This role emphasizes client accessibility and supporting clinicians by allowing them to focus on their clinical responsibilities within a flexible hybrid work model.
">Required Skills and Qualifications
">To be eligible for this position, candidates must have:
">- A graduate degree from an approved 60-credit hour Master's program
- Approval by the board as a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor
- Graduate or post-graduate work experience in a counseling setting treating depression and anxiety
- Ability to work independently conducting intakes and diagnosing according to the current DSM under a licensed supervisor
Additional Requirements
">Candidates must be available full-time (30 hours/week) with flexibility in their work schedule. They must also reside within 45 minutes of the office location and have the ability to work in the office for the probationary period before transitioning to a hybrid model.
