Duties
- Provide daily personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Support clients with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition.
- Assist with medication management and monitor vital signs as needed.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Observe and report any changes in the client's condition or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Provide memory care support for clients with cognitive impairments.
- Assist with hospice care when necessary, ensuring comfort and dignity for end-of-life patients.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
Experience
- Previous experience in patient care or home community care is preferred.
- Familiarity with working with individuals on the autism spectrum is a plus.
- Knowledge of memory care techniques and hospice care practices is beneficial.
- Ability to perform patient observation and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
- A background in nursing or related fields can enhance your qualifications for this role.
