The Supported Living Services (SLS) Skills Instructor is a direct services position within the Supported Living Services Program. The SLS Program supports individuals to live in their own home and experience a wide range of opportunities for living a dignified and meaningful life.

  • Job Responsibilities :
  • Assist clients in developing independent living skills such as budgeting, shopping, attending medical appointments, and engaging in community activities.
  • Provide support with personal care and household tasks.
  • Establish trust and rapport with clients.
  • Requirements :
  • Strong communication skills and ability to solve problems quickly.
  • Previous experience in human services is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum age of 18.
  • Must own a vehicle with valid California driver's license, registration, and insurance.
  • Successful completion of background checks and driving record review.
  • Qualities of a Successful Candidate :

    Job Types : Full-time, Part-time

    Pay : $19.85 - $21.27 per hour

    Expected hours : No more than 40 per week
