Job Summary:
Thriving Successfully is seeking a creative and motivated Marketing & Communication Intern to support brand awareness, content creation, and community engagement efforts. This internship is ideal for students or early-career professionals interested in digital marketing, public relations, and strategic communication within the public health and healthcare sectors. The intern will gain hands-on experience in social media management, content development, and marketing analytics while contributing to impactful public health initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and executing marketing and communication strategies.
- Create engaging content for social media, newsletters, blogs, and websites.
- Manage and schedule posts across various social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, etc.).
- Track and analyze engagement metrics to improve outreach strategies.
- Support the design of promotional materials, presentations, and marketing collateral.
- Assist in drafting press releases, email campaigns, and media outreach.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and audience insights.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance brand consistency and messaging.
- Engage with the online community and respond to inquiries or comments.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and content management tools.
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
- Experience with email marketing tools (Mailchimp, Constant Contact) is a plus.
- Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and digital advertising is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for public health, healthcare, and community engagement.
Preferred Qualifications:
