JOB TITLE : Direct Support Professional
Mission : Empower individuals with intellectual and / or developmental disabilities to lead fulfilling lives through relationships, skill building, and community involvement.
What We Do : Provide support services to individuals with disabilities for living successfully in the home and community.
How We Support : Our approach is person-centered and directed by the individual supported. We encourage independence, advocate for community inclusion, and support dignity of risk.
Who Do We Support : Our services are designed to meet the needs of all ages! We serve children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and seniors. There is no one too young or too old to receive our services.
When Do We Support : Our services provide supports, based on the needs of the individual. This could be a few hours once a week up to 24 / 7 365 days a year.
Where Do We Support : Our services are delivered wherever needed, such as family homes, individual homes, supported living sites, community locations, volunteer sites, and a variety of other locations.

Minimum Qualifications :
Working Conditions : This position may function within an individual’s home and / or community; travel to / from individual’s home required daily; must be able to handle physical aspects of job, including bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and walking for periods of time; use of web-based technology, cell phone, and computer required.
Work Schedule : 8-12 hour shifts overnight (8p-8a or 10p-8a or 10p-6a)
Salary : $17
