Job Title: Survey Crew Chief
Overview: The Survey Crew Chief plays a critical role in the execution of land and construction surveys, acting as a lead for field operations and ensuring that all surveys are conducted with precision and accuracy. This position is vital in overseeing survey crews, managing projects on-site, and delivering high-quality results to satisfy both client specifications and regulatory requirements. The Survey Crew Chief is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing surveys, as well as overseeing training and development for team members. This role requires a strong combination of technical knowledge, leadership skills, and effective communication to coordinate with various stakeholders, including engineering teams, contractors, and clients. By ensuring all survey data is accurately gathered and processed, the Survey Crew Chief helps facilitate successful project completions and supports the overall objectives of the organization.
Position will lead and be responsible for a Survey Crew in many different types of surveys, including but not limited to: ALTA and boundary surveys, topography surveys, control surveys, construction stakeout, elevation certificates, and subdivision layouts

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in leadership role
- Minimum 3 years’ experience of Surveying
- Must have knowledge and experience with, but not limited to: Total Station RTK & GPS data collection systems
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must pass a background and drug screening
- Work cooperatively with other employees and the public
- Be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Work overtime, if assigned.

Salary : $46,000 - $75,000
