Position Overview: As a Procurement Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting our supply chain operations, with a focus on procurement activities. You will be responsible for data entry, basic procurement tasks, and assisting with various standard purchasing activities. Responsibilities:
- Review data and create accurate purchase orders in a timely manner.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure on time delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder points to maintain proper stocking levels.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments, suppliers, and logistics partners.
- Maintain accurate supplier information, pricing, and lead times in system.
- Contribute and support the development and implementation of procurement strategies.
Qualifications:
- Excellent data entry skills.
- Self-starter with an outgoing personality, positive attitude, and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in using computer systems and software, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing business needs.
- Office/procurement experience a plus.
- Possession of Valid Driver's License
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- Office Environment
- Sitting 80% of time and standing/movement 20% of the time
- Occasional travel to other branch locations and suppliers

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
