Responsibilities
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table settings and decorations.
- Serve food and beverages to guests during events, ensuring prompt and courteous service.
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
- Clear tables and assist with the breakdown of events, ensuring all items are cleaned and returned to their proper place.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators to ensure seamless service during events.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer guest inquiries effectively.
- Uphold the highest standards of guest services throughout the event, addressing any guest needs or concerns promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred, particularly in banquet or catering settings.
- Strong background in guest services, demonstrating an ability to create positive experiences for guests.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is highly desirable.
- Experience in food preparation or bartending is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for interacting with guests and team members alike.
