We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our guests while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and service.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, restocking as necessary.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience for guests.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for order processing and payment transactions.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
Experience
- Previous experience in bartending or food service is preferred, with knowledge of the food industry being advantageous.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is essential to maintain a safe working environment.
- Strong math skills are necessary for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills are required to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Time management abilities are crucial for multitasking during peak hours in a fine dining or restaurant setting.
