Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing the bar area, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and disposing of waste.
- Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with legal regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Clover POS or similar.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders when applicable, ensuring timely service for guests.
- Uphold food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage presentation.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Experience with POS systems (Clover POS preferred) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in accordance with local laws and regulations.
