Position Summary
We are seeking highly motivated, results-oriented Independent Roofing Sales Contractors to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to leverage your sales skills to connect with homeowners, offer high-quality roofing solutions, and generate significant commissions. This is a commission-only, independent contractor role, giving you the flexibility to set your own schedule while driving your income based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Client Engagement: Identify, qualify, and cultivate leads through proactive outreach, leveraging both company-provided leads and self-sourced opportunities.
- Consultative Sales Approach: Conduct in-home consultations to understand customer needs, perform roof inspections, and recommend tailored solutions.
- Proposal & Contract Management: Utilize industry tools (Hover, RoofSnap, Eagleview, Xactimate, Symbility) to generate accurate project measurements and detailed proposals. Ensure contracts are fully completed, signed, and submitted promptly.
- Compliance & Ethical Standards: Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and compliance with company policies, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
- Reporting & Documentation: Submit required documentation (photos, measurements, insurance details) within the specified 72-hour window to maintain project continuity and ensure timely commission payouts.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers to drive repeat business and referrals.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Sales Experience: Previous experience in roofing, construction, or home improvement sales is highly preferred, but not required. A strong sales acumen and the drive to succeed are essential.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and thrive in a commission-driven environment.
- Valid Driver’s License & Insurance: Must have a reliable vehicle and maintain current automobile liability insurance ($100,000 per person, $300,000 per accident, $50,000 property damage).
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to build rapport with customers, present solutions effectively, and close deals confidently.
- Professional Conduct: Strong commitment to ethical behavior and adherence to company policies. Zero tolerance for misconduct, falsification of documents, or misrepresentation of services.
Compensation Structure
- Commission-Based Pay: Compensation is purely commission-based, calculated as a percentage of the profit on each job.
- 10/50/50 Commission Model:
- 10% of the total contract value is allocated to overhead (capped at $2,000).
- The remaining profit is split 50/50 between the company and the contractor.
