Thunder Struck Bumpers is a leading manufacturer of heavy-duty Grille Guards, Front Bumper Replacements, Rear Bumpers, and additional accessories for full-size trucks.
Thunder Struck Bumpers is seeking a 2nd Shift Laser Operator.
In this role, you will:
- Work Monday-Friday; 7:00 am –3:30 pm (hours may change once trained)
- Ensure efficient production and accuracy; document and record information; maintain safety
- Set up machines, materials, nests, and programming per company standards
- Safely and accurately operate machines to produce metalwork pieces
- Repetitively lift and place metal blanks or workpieces into bins and boxes
- Measure dimensions of finished workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications
- Read work orders to determine specifications, materials to be used, dimensions, and tolerances
- Perform operator maintenance on machines
Requirements:
- Basic CAD and blueprint reading skills
- Manual dexterity is required for operating machinery and computers
- The ability to lift 40 pounds is required.
- Ability to become a Certified Forklift Operator.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- High School Diploma or equivalent

Previous laser or similar fabrication or machining work experience is required that demonstrates the operation of metal working machines (including lasers, CNC / Numerically Controlled Equipment, etc.) to cut, shear, slit, or punch metal material. ·
Able to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, manufacturing drawings, or similar information. ·
Must be able to write legibly and demonstrate good communication skills.
