Position Summary:
Deal games efficiently and accurately, providing friendly and proactive interaction with all Guests and Team Members. Provide 4-Diamond service to Guests by being knowledgeable about Thunder Valley Casino and communicating its promotions and events. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Thunder Valley Casino’s “Winning Attitude” Company-wide culture and demonstrating Thunder Valley Casino’s AAA Four Diamond Service Standards at all times.
- Safeguard assets of the company.
- Exchange currency for chips.
- Deal cards to patrons.
- Take bets and pays winning wagers.
- Have competent knowledge in all aspects of the games dealt.
- Create an atmosphere of hospitality and friendliness toward Guests and Team Members.
- Be compliant of company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper cleanliness of assigned game table.
- Ensure equipment is in good working order.
- Ensure game protection.
- Ensure good game pace for all players.
- Ensure payouts are made quickly and accurately.
- Fill and credit tables by verification of checks.
Opening and closing tables by verification of all cheque inventories
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Prior Experience Needed: Some. Must pass audition.
- Minimum 12 months experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Guest’s, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
- Ability to attend and pass Thunder Valley’s internal Alcohol Awareness training course; recognize guest intoxication.
- Have excellent customer service skills.
- Have basic money handling skills.
- Know and comply with all gaming regulations.
