What are the responsibilities and job description for the Slot Project Coordinator - FT position at Thunder Valley Casino?
The Slot Project Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and delivering a detailed, organized, and efficient project plan for the Slots project team. The Slot Project Coordinator will track deliverables and ensure everything is received in a timely manner to keep the project plan on track. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the various electronic gaming devices as manufacturers update and create new machines and equipment. Responsibilities must be performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
Essential Functions:
1. Practice, support, and promote Thunder Valley Casino Resorts ELITE company-wide service mission and demonstrate AAA Four Diamond service standards at all times.
2. Oversee project schedule while coordinating with vendors, department management, and the Tribal Gaming Agency (TGA) to keep the casino floor up to date and in compliance with applicable regulations. Work to keep the schedule fluid and dynamic with the ability to change and update with short notice.
3. Schedule and process slot machine moves, installations, conversions, and removals.
4. Assist in scheduling repairs and maintenance on all slot machines and related or associated equipment.
5. Keep all working areas clean and safe.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of electronic gaming machines and related or associated equipment.
7. Maintain up to date floor map using approved software.
8. Keep accurate, detailed, and up-to-date records of completed work.
9. Comply with all Slot Department policies.
10. Evaluate current procedures and job functions and search for ways to make them more efficient and productive.
11. Practice effective and appropriate communication with various departments within the company to coordinate all aspects of projects.
12. Practice effective and appropriate communication with vendors, ensuring positive working relationships are maintained.
13. Comply with all signatory requirements.
14. Be aware of all upcoming events and promotions. Demonstrate an understanding and awareness of the Thunder Rewards program.
15. Maintain working knowledge of Title 31 requirements and internal control policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Two (2) years of recent experience as a Slot Technician.
2. High school education or equivalent required.
3. Knowledge of the setup of slot and video machines and player tracking systems.
4. Working knowledge of evaluating par sheets and using them in the development of set-up sheets.
5. Knowledge of the IGT Advantage System, including an in-depth knowledge of Machine Accounting and Configuration Workstation.
6. Computer proficiency with working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Project, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
7. Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.
8. Ability to multi-task while still maintaining a positive attitude and a smile.
9. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Management in both written and verbal form.
10. Must be at least 21 years of age.
11. Must be able to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License.
Physical Requirements:
1. Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
2. Ability to move up to 250 lbs. using a hand truck or flatbed cart with or without assistance.
3. Ability to lift, maneuver, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
4. Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged time periods.
5. Manual dexterity to operate job-related equipment.
