Position Summary:
The Floor Supervisor will supervise Dealers assigned to his/her respective pit. Should be
able to create an atmosphere of hospitality and friendliness toward Guests and Team
Members. Responsibilities must be performed in accordance with all Company standards,
policies, and procedures.
Essential Functions:
1. Practice, support, and promote Thunder Valley Casino Resort’s “ELITE” companywide service mission and demonstrate AAA Four Diamond service standards at all times.
2. Safeguard assets of the company.
3. Ensure departmental policies and procedures are adhered to as directed by the Shift
Manager and Assistant Shift Manager.
4. Handle guest complaints.
5. Ensure compliance with Federal Currency Reporting requirements.
6. Maintain a thorough knowledge of TGA regulations, Minimum Internal Controls
(MICS), System of Internal Controls (SICS), TVCR rules and regulations and gaming
regulations specific by game type.
7. Responsible for the cleanliness of the Table Games pits.
8. Be approachable at all times for Guests and Team Members.
9. Reiterate information that is communicated on a daily basis at the pre-shift huddles.
10. Ensure confidentiality of information with regard to all business conducted at Thunder
Valley Casino Resort, including Guests’ personal information, statistical data, win/loss,
and other private matters.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Minimum of eighteen (18) months of experience functioning in the capacity of Dual Rate Floor Supervisor.
2. Knowledge and compliance with all gaming regulations.
3. Must have knowledge of Roulette, Baccarat, and Pai Gow
4. Must have excellent customer service skills.
5. Must know and comply with all regulations as they apply to Table Games.
6. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in
both written and verbal form.
7. Must be able to work any shift including weekends and holidays.
8. Must be at least 21 years of age.
9. Must be able to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License.
Physical Requirements:
1. Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to
distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
2. Visual and auditory ability to identify any unusual or unethical practices that
jeopardize the integrity of the game.
3. Ability to stand for duration of shift.
4. Manual dexterity to use job related equipment.
Work Conditions:
Work is typically conducted in the casino, which may be hot, cold, noisy, and in the
presence of secondhand smoke. Team Members may be required to stand, walk, lift,
reach, push, pull, and grasp. These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned
area. Frequent contact with fellow Team Members and Guests is standard. Work hours
and days may be revised as company needs and workplace circumstances dictate.
