What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Receiver - FT position at Thunder Valley Casino?
Position Summary:
The Receiver ensures that the company receives the quality and quantity of merchandise ordered and that all outlets receive the products needed to provide AAA Four Diamond service to Guests. Responsibilities must be performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
Essential Functions:
1. Practice, support, and promote Thunder Valley Casino Resort’s “ELITE” company-wide service mission and demonstrate AAA Four Diamond service standards at all times.
2. Properly rotate products in all freezers, storerooms and cold boxes.
3. Deliver the proper product to the proper location.
4. Verify that invoices and packing lists are correct by checking them against purchase receivers.
5. Inspect delivered products.
6. Sign and date all invoices and purchase receivers.
7. Stamp all food delivery invoices with the HACCP stamp and sign.
8. Verify that temperature logs are completed twice daily.
9. Obtain signatures for all product transfers and assume responsibility for the products.
10. Make a copy of all invoices or packing slips for the warehouse records.
11. Ensure that all food deliveries are delivered in the proper condition and at the proper temperature in accordance with HAACP procedures.
12. Must be familiar of the MSDS tech sheet location for your area.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
2. Ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklift, pallet jack, Wave, reach lift, pallet rider.
3. Ability to work in a team environment or independently.
4. Know proper rotation procedures including, but not limited to the first in/first out (FIFO) method.
5. Must have basic math skills.
6. Ability to communicate effectively with Team Members, Guests, management, and vendors in both written and verbal form.
7. Must have or obtain a ServSafe Food Handler card.
8. Must be at least 18 years of age.
9. Must have a valid CA driver’s license.
10. Must be able to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License.
Physical Requirements:
1. Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
2. Must be able to sit, stand and walk for the duration of shift.
3. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
4. Requires manual dexterity to use job related equipment.
