The Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) will serve as a key leader within the Executive Leadership Committee of the nonprofit organization, working collaboratively with the Executive Director and Chief Finance Officer in the shared leadership model. The CSO will drive strategic planning, organizational impact, and fundraising initiatives to support the mission and growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning :
Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive strategic plans, goals, and initiatives in alignment with the organization's mission and vision.
Fundraising Strategy :
Develop and execute fundraising strategies, campaigns, and donor engagement programs to generate revenue and support the organization's programs and initiatives.
Program Development :
Work closely with program managers, staff, and stakeholders to evaluate, enhance, and expand existing programs and services to maximize impact and reach.
Performance Metrics :
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness, outcomes, and impact of organizational programs and strategic initiatives.
Collaborative Leadership :
Collaborate with the Executive Director, Chief Finance Officer, and other team members to align strategic goals, budgets, and resources for organizational success.
Stakeholder Engagement :
Engage with board members, staff, donors, volunteers, and community partners to build relationships, foster collaboration, and advocate for the organization's mission.
