Overview:
This technology driven prop-trading firm is expanding its team of engineers across levels in Austin. As a C Engineer, you’ll contribute to a highly collaborative environment where your skills will directly impact the firm’s success. Depending on your strengths and interests, you’ll focus on one of the following areas:
Research:
- Build robust applications for developing and deploying machine learning models.
- Work on simulation and backtesting systems to refine trading strategies.
- Dive into advanced feature engineering for predictive analytics.
Execution:
- Optimize ultra-low-latency trading systems for executing trades at lightning speed.
- Design systems to connect seamlessly with various exchanges.
Qualifications & Skills:
- A degree (BSc/MSc/PhD) in Computer Science or a related STEM field.
- 4 years of low-level programming experience in any industry.
- Expertise in C with a focus on low-latency applications preferred.
- Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
- A strategic mindset with a strong understanding of the broader impact of your work.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively collaborate across teams and articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Pay range and compensation package:
