About the role
- Spot high-impact, event-driven trade opportunities and partner closely with traders to turn insight into PnL, with a sharp focus on maximizing your contribution to the desk’s performance.
- Run scenario analyses for key upcoming catalysts, dissecting time-sensitive headlines across your coverage universe, and anticipate their influence on stock price movements and volatility.
- Help to shape and scale the growth of the Fundamental Research Team by building and refining processes that transform deep fundamental insights into actionable, revenue-generating trades.
- Partner with teams of quant researchers and data scientists, leveraging the rich, unrivaled datasets they can provide you with.
About You
- Over 3 years of hands-on experience analyzing the Financials sector, with a strong track record of uncovering actionable investment ideas and delivering results.
- Bachelor’s degree required; CFA certification is advantageous but not a prerequisite.
- Possess a decidedly process driven approach that provides you with a real edge.
- Advanced analytical mindset paired with solid quantitative and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrate a desire to build strong relationships and collaborate with dynamic teams.
- Be continuously curious and enjoy the act of in-depth fundamental research.
