This is a temporary position.
We are seeking a dedicated Dietary Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the dietary department with food production, service, and handling while upholding the highest standards of food safety and culinary practices.
Responsibilities
- Support the dietary team in food preparation and service
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety
- Collaborate with dietary aides and culinary staff to meet resident dietary needs
- Practice efficient time management to meet meal schedules
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dietary department or similar setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food production, service, and safety protocols
- Ability to work well in a team environment and provide help where needed
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to culinary standards
