The Business Analyst – Supply Chain and Operations will act as a critical partner to Supply Chain, Operations, and IT teams, driving process improvements and delivering solutions to enhance operational efficiency. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technology, supporting supply chain optimization through enterprise systems such as SAP and other ERP platforms. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in business process analysis, system configuration, and project management to ensure alignment with business goals and operational excellence.
A successful candidate must be able to:
- Partner with Supply Chain and Operations teams to understand, document, and analyze business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and automation.
- Shape business requirements by evaluating needs, suggesting alternatives, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Benchmark current processes against industry best practices to drive efficiency and innovation.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Supply Chain, Operations, and IT teams to deliver scalable, effective technology solutions.
- Provide hands-on functional support for ERP systems, including SAP functional modules (e.g., MM, PP, PM, QM, and PUR).
- Manage system configurations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the stability and integration of supply chain applications.
- Collaborate with IT and external partners to test, validate, and deploy system changes or enhancements.
- Lead and/or participate in supply chain and operations projects, including the rollout of ERP systems, process redesign initiatives, and technology upgrades.
- Develop project scopes, create functional requirements, and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Ensure timely delivery of solutions while managing project risks and communicating progress to stakeholders.
- Act as the key point of contact for supply chain and operations stakeholders, ensuring requirements are accurately captured and implemented.
- Train and support end users on system functionality and process changes.
- Proactively monitor system performance, manage incidents, and conduct root cause analyses to prevent recurrence of issues.
- Lead change management efforts to minimize disruption during system implementations or updates.
- Stay informed of industry trends and technology advancements to recommend innovative solutions.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a deep understanding of supply chain and operations processes.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and ITIL frameworks.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical teams and business leaders.
