Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and experienced caregivers to provide high-quality care to residents in assisted living facilities. As a caregiver through our staffing agency, you will be responsible for assisting elderly or disabled residents with daily living activities, ensuring their safety and well-being, and maintaining a positive, supportive environment. This role requires flexibility, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well within a team.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Help clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams in settings such as assisted living facilities or group homes to deliver comprehensive care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home health care or senior care is preferred.
- Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Knowledge of caregiving best practices and understanding of ADLs is essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- A background in nursing or relevant healthcare fields is beneficial but not required.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
