Your responsibilities

Job Summary

Develops implements and coordinates policies and programs covering the following: employment, labor relations, wage and salary administration, orientation and training, placement, benefits and employee services.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develops and aids in the implementation of human resources policies and procedures and their dissemination through employee booklets, communications, and/or meetings.
  • Ensures conformance with legislated requirements or organization needs.
  • Investigates complaints of harassment and sexual harassment.
  • Keeps abreast of legislation affecting human resources; trains management and monitors company policies to ensure compliance.
  • Provide coaching and resources to employees and managers with respect to career development, compensation, staffing initiatives, performance management and employee relations in order to ensure a consistent and fair approach.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of programs that will drive increased employee satisfaction and commitment levels.
  • Monitor and review the performance appraisal process and continually develop as necessary, ensuring that annual appraisals are carried out in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Arts or Associates Degree with a focus on Human Resources.
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in a union or non union environment supporting multiple locations and business units.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Professional designation or MBA preferred.

Job Compensation

$92,010.32 - $138,015.48
