This role supports the financial and commercial aspects of industrial projects, working closely with senior commercial and technical project managers during both the sales and execution phases. The ideal candidate will assist in contract reviews, cost tracking, invoicing, and financial reporting to help ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support project managers in coordinating the financial and commercial aspects of projects during sales and execution phases
- Assist with internal project approval processes and help prepare documentation for contract discussions with customers and partners
- Provide support in commercial project activities such as invoice preparation, budget tracking, and monitoring project costs
- Collaborate with internal departments to help address project-specific financial or contractual questions
- Track and document changes to contracts, and support in drafting responses or modifications for customers and suppliers
- Contribute to project financial reporting, risk tracking, and cost analysis
- Help conductrisk assessments and financial evaluations to support decision-making processes
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with financial controls, company policies, and project requirements
- Participate in the preparation and review of bids and proposals, ensuring financial and contractual details are aligned
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or a related field
- 2–3 years of experience in commercial project coordination, finance, or project support—internship or co-op experience a plus
- Familiarity with contract basics, cost control, or budgeting concepts
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to travel for occasional client meetings, events, or site visits (up to 10–15% travel)
- Ability to lift and carry materials (up to 25 lbs) occasionally
- Capability to sit or stand for extended periods during office work, presentations, and travel
- Flat hierarchies and short decision-making routes
- International work environment in interdisciplinary and multinational teams
